Embraced:Fully, a non-profit founded by Christian Scientists that supports citizens who are returning to public life from prison, is bringing its annual "Embraced and Empowered" conference to the University of Colorado campus in Boulder, Colorado, on September 18th and 19th 2026.
To complement and support the conference, the Christian Science Reading Room in Boulder (1434 Pearl Street) is sponsoring the following events that weekend:
September 18, 7-9pm: Community Music Jam at the Reading Room, hosted by Matthew Hammond of Love Only Grows, featuring Emma Kieran and other local musicians
September 19, 2-7pm: Community Mural Painting (in the alley on Lawry Lane behind the Reading Room) with professional muralist Alex Cook of You Are Loved Murals
September 19, 7-9pm: Community Music Jam at the Reading Room, hosted by Matthew Hammond of Love Only Grows, featuring Emma Kieran and other local musicians
